Lesson 1.4 Exchanging Data
Today we will learn what to say to learn more about a person, and how to give our information to an official or another person that needs to have it. To make it fun, imagine that you arrive to the JFK International Airport in New York. The police officer will ask you:
Police: Can I see your passport?
You: Here you go.
Police: How do you spell your last name?
You: W-A-N-G
Police: How long will you be staying here?
You: I am going to stay for three weeks.
Police: What is your phone number?
Tu: My number is 212-555-1234 (我的电话号码是 212-555-1234)
